Community Resources

Introduction:

In today's fast-paced world, communities are facing a multitude of challenges. From natural disasters to mental health issues, people need access to resources and support to navigate these difficult times. Fortunately, there are a plethora of community resources available to help individuals and families through tough times. However, navigating these resources can be daunting, as they are often spread out across multiple organizations and agencies.

The focus will be on the various types of resources that are available, such as community centers, non-profits, government agencies, educational institutions, faith-based organizations and more.

A strong and connected community is essential for promoting health, wellness, and resilience.  We want to provide students with an overview of the resources that are available to communities, how to access them, and how they can be utilized to promote wellness and resilience.  Furthermore we want the students to know how these resources when utilized can provide social support, improve mental health, and promote community engagement.
